“best way to get rid of cat urine smell _dog pee on carpet”

Why is the kitty in the dog house? It wasn’t the kitty’s fault. As the pet parent, YOU are responsible for the kitty’s behavior. Is kitty ill? Does she have a UTI? Do you interact with the kitty in an appropriate fashion? Do you exercise kitty and clean it’s litter box at appropriate times? Did you bring another cat into the house? If so, does each kitty have it’s own cat box and are they located in a secure and private place for kitty? Do you have kids? How do they treat the kitty? There are a thousand reasons why kitty would “mark” your furniture and 99.99% of those reasons are directly in response to it’s environment… which is 100% the responsibility of the pet parent…you. BTW, I am trying out this mixture tonight. I will comment later on how effective it is. Thank you.
I hope this vinegar method will work on days old cat urine on carpet. I couldn’t figure out exactly where the smell was coming from at first and finally discovered a couple spots in the closet! I don’t even know which cat’s been doing this, or why, after all these years.

Understanding a little about the behavior and physiological capabilities of your pet helps in understanding why enzymatic cleaners are so useful for removing pet stains. Dogs and cats have a much more highly developed sense of smell than humans do and can detect odors that we cannot smell. We think the carpet is clean because the odor and stains are gone–and then the dog/cat returns and pees on the same spot.
While these Prana Pets natural remedies for dogs are healthy and easy to use, they’re also quite expensive. Keep in mind that most natural remedies are pricey, and you may end up saving money if you no longer have to purchase over-the-counter or prescription medications for your pet.

Hi I saw your post about kitty having trouble keeping dinner down. We have three cats and our princess Madeleine had this issue. She is also 12. She had always been fine (our babies eat supercoat and dine) but as she got older her stomach got more sensitive. The only thing we’ve had luck with is kitty soup. Done and fancy feast make it. She loves it, has put a little weight on and keeps it down 🙂 hope it helps
Charged Media filters are also effective against nasty odors. Through the use of electrostatic energy and synthetic fiber filters, many charged media filters can collect particles as small as 0.1 microns. The media filter, made from synthetic fibers, is charged through the manufacturing process and attracts airborne contaminants electrostatically before trapping them inside the fibers of the filter.
Slowly pour your solution onto the site and gently scrub with paper towels or a soft brush. Let sit for 15 minutes, then dust with baking soda. When it’s dry, vacuum. You might need to do this a few times for tough stains or especially strong odors.
I am going to try this; i have read much the same at other sites. My cat pissed in the middle of my bed! this is the second time she has done this and I even have two litter boxes for her. Our problem is when little kids come visit or my sons dog comes over (they were raised together). At any rate, I need to not only find a solution to the urine but a solution to the nervous skittish cat I have suddenly found myself with. I am open to any ideas!
Urine can often soak through the carpet and into the subflooring, leaving a stain and a stench that can’t be lifted with carpet cleaner and elbow grease. If you have pet odor that will not go away despite your best carpet-cleaning efforts, neutralize the scent by using an oil-based, stain-blocking primer beneath the carpeting on the subfloor and replace the padding as well as that area of carpet.
When cleaning any surface, it’s important to get to the point not only where you cannot smell the urine, but your cat can’t smell it either. “When a cat can smell a previous urine spot (from themselves or another cat), that area is likely to be used again,” George said.

This article is about how to get dog urine and the smell out of your carpet. If you are a dog lover you already know that accidents happen. You may have gone to that party you thought about all week and got home way later than you thought you would. When you opened the door your best friend looks at you with a look that says, ”I’m sorry but I can’t turn a doorknob.”
