“cat pee out of carpet |to get rid of cat urine smell”

My neighbor can’t get her tiny yorkie trained so she stays in a fenced in area all the time and uses a disposable pad. I was using them too but when her dog visits (which is daily) she wasn’t using them, she would go all over the house. My sister told me she was started using large non disposable pads like the pads used in hospital beds. I tried it and both dogs are using it with no accidents. I just throw them in the washer with bleach. I think a little odor, that only the dogs smell, brings them back to it every time. They are very inexpensive and much cheaper than disposables.

Sometimes we are so distracted by the fact that dog puddle appeared again on our favorite carpet that we immediately forget about all the tips and secret methods. Some of us start screaming at the pet and the others just throw the carpet out on the balcony until it will dry out. Unfortunately liquid will only evaporate but not the smell.
It did help me to remove the urine stains and a smell. However, it was awful chemical odor. I’ve checked on internet regarding the Peroxide toxicity…OMG, the vapor of Peroxide is toxic when inhaled. I tried to dry the mattress with a hair dryer and opened all the windows for a night and a day after to ventilate the room. But, still the smell did not go away completely. I wonder if this method of cleaning the surface is safe at all.
Sounds good, but what about any discoloration damage to carpet if “enough strong peroxide” is used? You say use 30% H202, so is the 40 volume (assume 40%) clear developer from beauty supply too strong?
I adopted a puppy and he decided to pee on the top of my plush couch, I have tried and tried to get the pee and smell out. But nothing seems to be working and I don’t know what else to do, I have tried Pirey multi purpose cleaner and I have tried Woolite pet urine eliminator. Aside from trying warm soap and water to try and clean it, I am getting married in September and would really like to get this taken care of before then. I don’t want my guests coming over to my home with a couch, that smells like my dog has made it his personal potty and I haven’t tried to fix it. I don’t know what else to do about the issue so if, anyone has anything that will do the job please help me.
EXACTLY, some people have to put their 2cents worth in even if it’s bad mouth language, don’t they………. my mom used to call that “potty mouth”….. She obviously did something wrong cause I have used this before and it works fine for me……………
When antimicrobials are used, they destroy the organisms that produce bad odors, and thus, if the microbes are dead, they can’t keep stinking things up (although you would think that rotting microbe carcasses would produce a stink of their own).  However, these chemicals may also kill the microbes we want to keep around.  Microbes create unpleasant odors when they excrete what they have eaten. (except they don’t use toilets – savages).  Aveho targets the resulting unpleasant odors, but does not target the microbes themselves.
Our cat just started peeingin several places all over the house. Ihave used several things to clean it first was an arm and hamor stain and urine remover, then natures miracle and then went over again with bissel solution urine remover for wet vac and i canstill see the spots with the black light. Any suggestions for getting it to go away completely
The best method to to remove the dog urine is to use a wet/dry vacuum. If you don’t own one an alternative method is to place several layers of paper towel over the wet urine area and tread on it so as to soak up as much of the dog urine as you possibly can. You may have to repeat this several times until no more dog urine can be soaked up.
Lastly, replace the things you can that may have been urinated on or soaked in the odors like fabric hampers and make sure to wash all other fabrics like sheets, blankets, and even pillows themselves (don’t use bleach because bleach and ammonia in urine don’t mix safely).
Before you use any products on furniture, it’s best to disassemble as much as possible. Remove pillows, blankets, slip covers, or any other materials so you can vacuum or treat areas separately and thoroughly.

Cats and dogs can smell odors even when we cannot and return to the area where urine was previously deposited. Using enzymatic cleaners, like Nature’s Miracle, to remove the urine odor is strongly recommended.
We recently bought a repurposed cabinet made out of old barn wood. Once we got it home we really think it may have been sprayed. They had two cats where they live. I can’t see where the damage is. How do we clean this without ruining the barn wood
Many people erroneously think antimicrobials remove all odors.  Antimicrobial chemicals only remove odors caused by microbes (bacteria in particular).  When microbes digest their food source, they generate malodors.  However, many odors are not bacteria-based.  Many odors are derived from non-bacterial sources (that antimicrobials would have no effect in eliminating).  So while antimicrobials will only remove bacteria based odors, Aveho will remove far more malodors, including bacteria-based odors.  In addition, Aveho can remove these malodors without destroying beneficial bacteria.  The limitations of antimicrobials can be overcome by using Aveho in conjunction with (or instead of) antimicrobials.

You can buy washable ones on different sizes off Amazon. I did this 5 yrs ago when we got out puppies an put them by out back door. Even though they go out right before we go to to bed, theres still times one or the other will pee on it 2 or 3 times a week late at night or of im gpne to long during the day. They’re 5yrs old now. I just wash one at a time with only vinegar an air dry while I put the other down. Well worth the $$
Why is the kitty in the dog house? It wasn’t the kitty’s fault. As the pet parent, YOU are responsible for the kitty’s behavior. Is kitty ill? Does she have a UTI? Do you interact with the kitty in an appropriate fashion? Do you exercise kitty and clean it’s litter at appropriate times? Did you bring another cat into the house? If so, does each kitty have it’s own cat box and are they located in a secure and private place for kitty? Do you have kids? How do they treat the kitty? There are a thousand reasons why kitty would “mark” your furniture and 99.99% of those reasons are directly in response to it’s environment… which is 100% the responsibility of the pet parent…you. BTW, I am trying out this mixture tonight. I will comment later on how effective it is. Thank you.

1) You might discolor your carpet – baking soda & vinegar. Think about it. It’s a paste that can interact with the chemistry of the carpet. Don’t believe me? Start reading through the comments. There are some people who say it works, but do you want to be one of the readers who was left with ruined carpet?
Yes, but you have to let the match burn for a few seconds and then extinguish it without throwing it into the toilet. The smell that permeates the room after you extinguish the match is what will eliminate the odor.

you said that you are treating your dog with Crananidin and Cosequin every other day. And that “Nutramax pharm. makes the products. Is this a mail order pharm. And did your vet come up with this solution on taking this or did you research on the internet.
Vanessa Beaty, How is it a good idea to bathe a dog w/ peroxide? Why don’t you try pouring peroxide on your skin to test your “magic” solution out before you spew garbage disguised as advise like this ?
