“get rid of urine odor in carpet |peed off”

To treat a mattress, use essentially the same process as for the couch cushion (you don’t need to remove the mattress from the bed!). Slowly pour the enzyme cleaner on/around the affected area, ensuring it has the chance to really soak in thoroughly. Let it sit for 15 minutes, and then blot up what you can with a lot of towels. Place several layers of clean towels over the area, and then make the bed. Just swap out those clean towels each day (if done properly it will take days to dry). To discourage peeing on the spot while the mattress dries, cover the bed with a large plastic sheet or tarp when you’re not using it, or take a large box, cut it down, and lay it over the top of the bed when you’re not using it.
The refrigerator – Aveho odor removal was demonstrated in laboratory testing to outperform sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) for removing odors generated in the refrigerator (but you really should throw that pizza away – it’s not getting any younger).
Now, here is my problem: I brought a stray Cat, who was in a bad fight with another animal, to a No-Kill Rescue Shelter which was about 45 minutes from my house. Unfortunately during the trip he peed in the cat carrier which leaked into the front seat my car and I didn’t notice until I got back in my car. The smell was making me gag so bad I had to stop at a store and get something! I ended up getting an enzymatic clear which cleaned the spot but didn’t do much for the odor. Since then I have tried other enzymatic cleaners as well as Vinegar, soap and baking soda solution, as well as vinegar alone. It has calms the odor but I still smell it while in the car, especially on hot days. I will try this one with Hydrogen peroxide though. If this doesn’t work I may have to buy a new seat! Thank you for all the advice!
Many of the cheaper cleaners simply won’t work on set in stains and odors. If that’s the case for you, then you’ll need to make sure that you get it with something strong, soak it, and leave it for a considerable period of time.
Oprah Winfrey is an expert on many things, including best stain removers. Who knew?! Check out her advice on how to get pee smell out of carpet on Live with Kelly & Michael. And she even recommends one of our top picks!
For linens, blankets and cushion covers, add a ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar to any oxy-powered detergent powder, such as boric acid, and launder as usual. Also, leaving a deep glass dish of white vinegar standing in a room with an offensive odor usually takes the odor out of the air.
is there an alternative? I’m babysitting and the little girl peed on a brown couch and I’ve mixed the soap and water but I can still smell the pee.. there isn’t any baking soda, vinegar, or peroxide here at the house.

Hey so, I just wanted to say that the one where you mix the baking soda and vinegar you are just making sodium acetate, water, and Co2. If you mix them in the bowl or sprayer before applying it you aren’t really doing anything. You just end up with a lot of water and a small amount of either baking soda or vinegar left over (whichever had too much for the reaction). Just wanted to point that out. It’s basic chemistry.
I took my puppy from a dog foster home about a year ago. I love him to bits; he has a great personality, and I feel that he loves our family so much. BUT, whenever I leave him at home he pees in the house: on the carpet, on the bed, on flowers..
