“remove urine stains best cat urine remover for furniture”

Locate the source of the odor. It’s easiest to clean fresh stains that are still damp, since you can lift much of the urine from the affected spot. However, you may also come across dried stains. In these cases, the same procedures should be followed, even though the urine has had more time to break down and soak into the surface.
Clean the cage. If you have rats, mice, gerbils, ferrets, rabbits, and other pets that live in cages with bedding, the cage could be making your whole house stink. Gently remove your pet and place the pet somewhere safe, such as a second cage. Then, get to cleaning:
For outdoor use (concrete, sidewalks, outdoor tile and grouting spots): Prior to use, wash outdoor surfaces with water to remove debris and soils. Spray product directly onto area with stubborn urine stain or odor and allow to air dry. DO NOT allow product or rinse water to enter storm drains, lakes, streams or other bodies of water.
Odors caused by decomposition often require specific steps for removal. Organic materials immediately begin to decompose after death, and while that is a completely normal process, it can cause an overwhelming concentration of malodorous compounds. This means that store-bought diluted solutions may not be powerful enough to eliminate smell.
Kierstin, thanks for your response. And the mention of our daughter. She’s clean right now and we’re hoping it sticks this time, as difficult a thing as that is. She’s in her early 20’s and I’d really hate to see her life go to waste to a horrible drug.
If the carpet odors are longstanding and accompany urine stains that you can’t remove, hire a professional carpet cleaner. These experts have a wide range of machines and solvents at their disposal to clean your carpet, remove odors and make it look good as new.
Step 2: Pour 4-6 oz of warm water on the stain. Extract or absorb this water from the carpeting (repeat 3 times). This dilutes the urine and helps the “good” bacteria in the best pet odor eliminator product to quickly eat away at the “bad” bacteria.
Brittany, the vinegar, water, baking soda, peroxide and dish soap treatment works on mattresses! Thats what I do when my cat goes on my bed! If the spot is fresh and still wet, blot up as much of it as you can. Then pour 1 part white vinegar and 1 part water on the spot. Let sit a min then blot that up as much as you can. Then sprinkle a handful of baking soda over the spot. Then drizzle a mixture of peroxide & dish soap over the baking soda. Let sit about 15 mins then use your fingers or a sponge/brush of some sort and work it into it. Then let set to dry (putting a fan facing it helps make drying process faster). Then use the hose of your vaccum to sweep it up when its dry! Stain and smell gone!
I hope this provides an alternative for people whose floors or inhabitants have difficulties with vinegar. (I do use vinegar on other non-marble flooring tiles and glass when my daughter is not around and it works great). Also one one place where I just have grout flooring (more difficult than hard tiling to wash and remove odours) with grating inserted, I removed the metal gratings and washed those outside and, on the grouting flooring, used vinegar first, rinsed with water and dried and followed by a strong solution of oxyclean, rinsed and dried, and the strong male cat urine smell has gone.
There is nothing more embarrassing than hearing someone ask, “What’s that smell?” when they enter your home. Many things can cause lingering odors, and they have nothing to do with how much you clean. Once odors are embedded deep down where normal cleaning cannot reach, those unpleasant smells will hang in the air. In some cases, they can even make the air unhealthy and cause an array of health problems. If you have odors that won’t go away then it’s time to call the professionals.
Cats often “go” outside the box to let you know what’s going on with health issues, their feelings about changes in the house, and their displeasure with their cat litter box. Another reason? Unneutered males spray to mark their territory, and unneutered females spray to let male cats know that they’re in that’s a really good question. What is the material? For canvas tennis shoes I’d try soaking them in hot water and a cup of OxiClean Versatile, then running them through once more on a hot setting and letting them air dry, preferably in the sun. For something like suede or leather, I would wipe down the surface of the shoes with a clean cloth and a mixture of white vinegar and water. I would clean the inner sole with an upholstery machine like the BISSELL Little Green ProHeat.
I am now 90 percent satisfied I have won the battle of cat pee. I will not be 100 percent satisfied until I replace all the carpet but that will not happen until my cat crosses the rainbow in which she will probably pee on because that is how she rolls.
This product is specialized for protein-based stains. It won’t work as well on soap scum, hard water and other types of bathroom stains. It is also not an EPA-registered disinfectant, which is often needed in restrooms.
Citrus fruits contain enzymes that help break down odors. You can make a powerful enzymatic cleaner that removes most pet odors, but you need to be patient. These solutions have to brew for a few months.

Hydrogen peroxide, or H2O2, is a powerful oxidizer that renders the chemicals in strong, acidic pet fluids, such as urine or vomit, inert. Peroxide breaks down the crystallizing compounds in urine and also removes stains. Be sure to test for color fastness before applying.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to put Stinkers! to the test on several occasions, and I wanted to share how well it performed in these five ultimately stinky situations (spoiler alert: AMAZING!):
As with any product that you would put on your carpet, flooring or furniture, always test for color fastness. To test for color fastness, mix a small amount of the solution and place on a hidden area of your carpet. Wait 24 hours or until carpet is dry before proceeding to full treatment.
