“pet urine carpet cleaner _getting dog urine out of carpet”

Chances are the urine has soaked into the cushion pad, so spot-cleaning the covers is unlikely to be helpful. This may be a case of having to throw the cushions away. As a last resort see if you can unpick the cover from the inner, wash the cover, and sew the cover onto a new cushion pad bought from a craft store.
Since posting this review, I actually convinced a man to marry me. I clearly missed my chance as a saleswoman because I can sell anything, even a life attached to me and the feline. My cat is going strong and still a narcissistic princess with a special place in my heart and hell.
Here at Chem-Dry, we love our pets. They brighten up our day and they’re always there to support us, through thick and thin. However, they can make it a real challenge to keep your home clean, healthy and smelling fresh when pet accidents occur.
To distribute the smell throughout the entire house, set up a fan on the opposite side of the room to the incense. This will produce air to blow the smoke throughout the house, but not too much breeze that ashes blow everywhere.
Our cat Puffy has been driving the entire family crazy with his peeing everywhere. We bought de-scenting sprays and special cleaners, which he ignored and re-marked all over the house…some advice? (I refuse neuter my cat.) Thank you.
Carpet is just not designed to be washable to the degree required to get urine out, if its soaked through the underlay and into the floor below then you have pretty much no chance at all and really you need a new carpet or better yet… a waterproof flooring like lino or tiles.
My husband and I were thinking about taking him to ‘doggy school’, but then again, it’s extremely expensive, and the nearest ‘doggy school’ is far away from us. Maybe you have some advice? THANK YOU!!!!

A malodor is another way of saying “bad odor”.  These are often made from molecules that contain nitrogen, oxygen, and/or sulfur.  Aveho will selectively target these compounds, and will bind them, or convert them to substances that don’t smell so offensive.
Keep Your Dog But Not The Dog Smell – Living with man’s best friend does not mean that your home has to smell and look like a dog house. If you are looking for the best solution to keeping the dog smell from lingering in your home without hours of cleaning every week here are a couple ways to…
If you haven’t removed all the carpet and pad because you’re still using the room, you’ll want to move the furniture, rip up the remaining carpet and pad, and vacuum at least one day prior to the scheduled installation.
4. You’re not done just yet with the homemade remedies. Mix 3/4 cup of three percent hydrogen peroxide (you know you have some under your bathroom sink) with 1 teaspoon of dish detergent. Sprinkle this solution over the baking soda and test a small spot. You need to do this because sometimes peroxide can discolor or bleach fabrics (source). Work the baking soda into the fabric or carpet.
Find the soiled spot as quickly as possible. It can become extremely tricky to remove urine if your pet’s urine soaks deep into the upholstery and even into the wood frame. In most cases, you can spot the urine spot right away. If not, you can try:

In addition to these five tips, I’d like to add the following: Do not have your cat declawed. I adopted a declawed cat from a local shelter and it took me months before I finally had her successfully using her litter box. She would pee on the carpet, sofa, towels, dirty clothes on the floor, anything soft and I think it was because of the declawing procedure.
Bleach may take the color out of your carpet. Before using any carpet cleaning product, it’s recommended to do a test spot first in an inconspicuous area before using the product on the entire carpet. A carpet cleaning professional might be the best option for dealing with tough, set-in stains.
One possible cause that i haven’t seen here is that you dog/puppy may have diabetes. My puppy was not getting house trained so i took her to the vet to only find you she was very sick. If you still have problems contact a vet/trainer for help.
It can be difficult to remove cat urine smell from furnishings as the cat urine odor tends to linger, well I am going to let you into a free little known secret to easily clean well this simple cat urine smell removal remedy will do just the trick.
If the wood on your furniture, walls, baseboard or floor is discolored, the varnish or paint has reacted to the acid in the urine. You may need to remove and replace the layer of varnish or paint. If you do so, make sure the new product is safe for pets.
I will give this product 5 stars but really don’t know yet. Honestly, I hope to not be able to review for a long time. Bought it for skunks being here and luckily my furbaby was not had an encounter for months. Read about it on “FB Mastiffs Rule Drool Is Cool” . Have found that the tomato juice does not work nor does the homemade recipe. Hoping this might be the solution. 🙂

If the carpet is in a room you plan to utilize until the installation date, you can easily remove only the damaged area by cutting through the carpet and pad with a utility knife. To be on the safe side, extend the perimeter by at least a foot.
So while we’re trying to get back on track, we have a huge uphill battle to fight. Today at work the guys I’m working with said I smell like cat pee. The clothes I’m wearing came straight out of the laundry. A big problem is I can’t smell it anymore. I put the clothes on my nose and I can’t smell anything that smells like cat pee. My sister told me the same thing last week so I’ve been trying to wash my clothes and put them away right away. I feel awful. How am I suppose to fix the problem with odor if I can’t smell it to know if it’s gone or not? My sister said that Odoban makes a laundry detergent that has enzymes and that I should try that. Odoban Sport or something? She said it’s on Amazon. Anyone have experience with that?
Don’t punish your cat for inappropriate urination. Instead, attack the problem systematically by first eliminating any residual odors with a strong enzymatic cleaner. This will prevent your cat from continuing to urinate in the problem area. The next step is to find the origin of the behavior and solve the problem at the source.
Uric acid, the stuff that causes the odor, is not water soluble and will not respond to water-based cleanup methods. An enzymatic cleaner breaks down the uric acid and removes the smell. Soak the soiled area with the enzymatic cleaner — as deep into the cushions as the urine did. Let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
We have a little female Sheltie that has had repeated urinary infections therefore she has had those accidents we’ve been reading about. If you watch your dog while outside and they try to pee (males???) and nothing comes out, this may be a clue that they have some irritation. Get to the vet. Cleaning their bottoms occasionally with a baby wipe may keep the bacteria in-check.
Rachel, those things work great and there are enzymatic cleaners designed for use in them. I’ve always just used the ones you can rent from hardware stores so I don’t really have any brand suggestions for you. Honestly, I’d just check Amazon and start reading reviews. Good luck!
Yes Terri, if there’s any wood, the urine has probably soaked into it. The vinegar and baking soda may do the trick. Have you tried any of the enzymatic cleaners. Also, how big is the vent? Can you take the vent cover off to get your hand/arm down in there?
Because it is comprised of such simple ingredients, PureAyre is also more versatile than other pet odor eliminators. You can fog it or spray it. You can even use it in the washing machine, on furniture, and in your carpet cleaner. Have your pet checked by a veterinarian to rule out medical causes for the accident. When you are certain your pet is healthy, use positive reinforcement to train yourcat or dog to eliminate in the proper place.
There was a mystery stain that showed up in an extra bedroom that looked so questionable I didn’t even want to stick my nose in it… (I have 3 adult dogs, 1 puppy and 1 cat). I sprayed some Rocco on the spot, left it and forgot about it. The next morning I went in and it was COMPLETELY gone.
If stains are old or set in, some customers say this product does not work as well (but most would argue it is still worth a try, as many have been able to remove these without a problem). The scent is too strong for a few reviewers, and some say the stain somehow came back after time.
