“remove urine smell from wood +cat spray cleaner”

I loved this product. I was constantly being around people who smoke and hated that the smell lingered on me wherever I went. This got the job done to eliminate the cigarette smell. And also just smells so good. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Chances are the urine has soaked into the cushion pad, so spot-cleaning the covers is unlikely to be helpful. This may be a case of having to throw the cushions away. As a last resort see if you can unpick the cover from the inner, wash the cover, and sew the cover back onto a new cushion pad bought from a craft store.
Debra, I’m really sorry to hear that. Other than keeping your windows open, there’s really not much you can do. The pet owners are the ones who have to fix the problem. You need to talk to them again. If that doesn’t work, talk to the property management. They don’t want one resident making life unpleasant for the rest. They’re in the business of making money and to do that, they need to keep residents somewhat happy. So seriously, give the neighbors one last chance and then go above them.
The enzyme cleaner is good with urine, vomit, and other stain caused by your pet. Can be applied on multiple surfaces like carpet, wooden floor, upholstery, and other types of fabric. Also, it uses natural enzymes for best and safest way to clean stains and remove odor. No chemical components were used. Can be used on other types of stain in different materials.
Basically, the gadget is an Ultraviolet or ‘Black’ light which has an LED, low energy bulb. Just shine it over your carpet or upholstery and those little ‘whoopsies’ will become visible so you can deal with them.

How to know that the dog urine stain is definitely gone? Because it’s the bacteria for dog’s urine that causes the bad smell, obviously you won’t be able to see it. Thus, after you’ve treated the area, get a UV blacklight (pet urine detector) and light the area. A well-treated area with the best pet odor eliminator should pass the UV detector test.
Remember when treating fine fabrics, rugs and upholstery. You must be extra careful in checking for color fastness. You must test a hidden area and wait 24 hours before proceeding to a full treatment.
You can place the soaked up newspaper or paper towel where you’d like your pet to urinate. This is a positive way to help let them know where to urinate as you’ll be transferring their urine smell to the appropriate location.
All DIY projects seem to leave something out that cause the project to not come out the way you had expected. In order to remove dog urine from carpet or even a dog stain about half a gallon of a cleaning solution is required and must be left to dwell for at least 5 minutes. The question is will your shop vac remove all the solution from your carpet and below your pad? Most know vacuums do not have the lift required to remove pet urine and cleaning solution from under the pad. Failure to remove the solution from your carpet and pad will cause your carpet to have an odor and you will be disappointed.
The instructions say to dilute the spot with water and blot up repeatedly… understand this will allow you to use less Rocco and facilitate Rocco to get deeper into the carpet via the dampness. However, I am lazy and short of time… so I like simply spraying it on the spot… it takes more to do it my way, but it works all the same. It is almost too good to be true.
Eew, that smell is right! I’ve had a few stains in some rugs around the house which I’ve tried everything to get the smell out. The rugs are way to big to put in the washer and didn’t want to go through the hassle (or cost) of getting it professionally cleaned so I tried the Sunny & Honey spray and it truly is a miracle, well worth every penny for any other frustrated dog parents who are neat freaks like me!
Fresh lemon juice diluted with water (ratio of 1:1) will help to eliminate the smell of dog urine from the furniture and carpet. The mixture is left on the surface for 15 minutes and then wiped with the clean textile or sponge. In order to achieve the desired result you should start cleaning the surface immediately. The worst case is when urine dries. If it is necessary the method can be repeated several times.
If you’re working with tile or white carpet, then you might want to try a mixture of hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. Try mixing a cup of baking soda, a half cup of 2% hydrogen peroxide, and a dash of dish soap.
10. Grab a paper towel, and try to blot up as much of the urine as possible. If it’s a large spot and you don’t want to waste paper towels, use a cloth towel or old clothes that can be thrown away. If the spot is on the carpet, stand on the wet spot (remember to wear shoes).
To make this cleaning mixture is quite simple. Take 10 ounces of hydrogen peroxide, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and one or two drops of dish detergent. Mix all three ingredients in a bowl and then slowly pour into a spray bottle. (Otherwise, the baking soda will cause the mixture to foam all over the place).
2. If homemade mixing is not your thing, there are commercial products on the market that work well too. Make sure to look for cleaners that contain enzymes because they work to break down the urine and neutralize the odor (source). Make sure you follow the instructions carefully on these products.
Un-Duz-It Unleashed features a unique combination of oxidizers, enzymes, and odor encapsulants that completely eliminates odors caused by urine, feces, and wet animals. It also effectively wipes out unsightly yellow staining from pet urine.

You can find stores near you that sell Clorox® Urine Remover on our Shop Now page. It’s a good idea to call the store before going, to make sure they have it in stock. If you have any trouble finding it at a nearby store, you can also buy it online.
For the most part, these can be separated into hard and soft surfaces. What works well on carpet, for instance, might not be quite as good for tile or hardwood. The latter can be particularly problematic when it comes to picking out a good cleaner but enzymatic cleaners are quite often benign enough to not affect their finish.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to use dog urine smell eliminator products that would have no chemicals in them (self-made DIY cleaners are sadly not as effective). Thus, any type of cleaner, including these best pet odor eliminator products, will leave residue behind that you cannot see, but as long as they’re safe for pets, you won’t have to worry.
Remember to always do a spot removal test on a portion of carpet or upholstery that is normally not visible. These are suggested treatments only and COIT can’t be held accountable for any damage sustained by use of the treatments in this spot removal guide.
That means keeping your animal in a cage 16 plus hours a day??? Why don’t you simply take him/her outside for a short pee break at intervals??when you wake, at lunch. after work and before bed…it’s cruel to cage an animal 16 hours, why bother having an animal if all you do is keep it in a tight cage
Great article, we had to remove all the carpet in our home because the previous owners had dogs and our cats decided, this is our house and they marked everything. This include removing and replacing base boards. We are on a concrete slab so we used TSP then a product called odorxit. After the new floors, baseboards, also using a turkey baster needle to inject seal plate and studs with concentrate. We also used the odorxit on the sheet rock, plus repainted the whole downstairs. I can tell you the odorxit is not cheep, but it works. Another time one of our cats got left in the guest room and pee pee on the mattress. Ordorxit to the rescue. 3 applications it took, but no more cat pee smell. Once I run out, I will be buying more. They have another product called odorxit magic spray. Spray this over your kitty box fresh as anything, and the cats keep coming back to the box. I have no affiliation with this company, but I was at my wits end, and found them before they got big and got their product in Amazon and Walmart. The customer service were the nicest people I have talked to as well.
I am so thankful for this stuff. We have 2 bigger dogs ( that aren’t the best smelling bless their hearts) and 3 cats with 2 very stinky litter boxes. This completely gets rid of anything gross like odors. LOVE THIS
