“remove urine smell from yard -cat urine odor in carpet”

You can also use a wet vacuum to “suck up” the urine if you have one on hand. This will lift more of the cat urine than blotting. Do not use a steam cleaner as at this point in the cleaning process the heat can cause the odor to last much longer and be more difficult to remove.[6]

Thank you Thank you Thank you. I spent my whole weekend cleaning my family room carpet with a carpet cleaning machine, about 3-4 times. Today it STILL smelled like urine. I tried the recipe and it worked GREAT. I put the vinegar/water mixture in my machine and went over the stinky area. My carpets are pretty dry after the machine sucks all the water up so I went right to the next step and a few hours later I am crawling around on my hands and knees trying to find the urine smell but it is nowhere to be found!!!! : )
That being said, together they don’t make a good cleaning agent, but used together, they can dislodge hair and residue buildup in a drain. That’s where the fizzy fun and the bubbly reaction come into play.

The best enzyme product I’ve ever used! In the past decade I’ve never had less than 10 animals in my care, and I’ve occasionally reached upwards of 30-40+ animals. After reading MSDS documents I found that a lot of products (I’m looking at you nature’s miracle) oftentimes were not even enzyme changed the way we think of them, and we’re actually just watered down and over priced hydrogen peroxide. I had resorted to using septic tank additives that needed precise dilution and had other undesirable enzymes and ingredients. Then I found odormute and it has been through a battery of field tests A cat urine soaked dog bed would normally have been discarded without a second thought, I soaked it The best enzyme product I’ve ever used! A cat urine soaked dog bed would normally have been discarded without a second thought, I soaked it in odormute thinking it could be salvaged enough to be used outdoors for my pets while I garden. It worked so well that the bed is right back in its place, in my kitchen! I should have written this review months ago when I first used it. I am just now getting a refill and realized I hadn’t shown my support. A billion stars to this product. … more
Does anybody have suggestions for removing cat odor from wood floors that have been peed on? We have sanded 1/4 inch off and resealed but it still permeates. I think we will have to kilz and cover. It is the most vile smell ever. I don’t even have cats and cannot get rid of the aroma. It makes me want to vomit. I have tried all of the enzymatic cleaners, vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, bleach and mouthwash solutions. At this point, I am just wanting to cover up the smell to make it tolerable to live in in the meantime. Help!
This stuff really works! Out of all the products I have used, plus the expensive professional cleaning, I have to say, this was awesome. Its easy and inexpensive. I was a little skeptical at first but after reading all the reviews I decided I would try it, and I’m glad I did! I still can’t believe it. It got rid of a couple dried urine spots on my carpet and let me tell you, it smelled horrific. I wanted to throw up. I was so embarrassed! To anyone who is skeptical about this, take it from me. It really works.  But trust me, before you go out and buy every product in the world, try this.
However effective you are at spot cleaning those ‘little accidents’, there is always going to be a time when you want to clean the whole carpet. This could also be the case if you have moved into a new home where pets lived previously.
Although litter box is great for keeping your cat wastes, sometimes, even the best litter box can’t prevent the smell from getting out. And some cats even do their own business outside on the yard or even on your carpet. If that happens for a long time, the odor that was built up might become awfully smelly. Not like pooping which your cat will feel like doing in places like litter box. The urine is a way for cats to mark their territories so you might see your cat peeing in unexpected places.
