“remove urine smell remove urine smell from jeans”

[…] Ah, the joys of potty training children and pets! If struggling to remove urine smells and stains from surfaces like a mattress, all you need to use is dish soap, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to scrub it out. […]
If some stubborn soda still remains after you vacuum once, spay a light mist of vinegar and water over it to re-wet the baking soda, and place a dry rag over the area for another hour or two until it dries again. Then vacuum a second time.
No matter how well-trained your furry pal is, accidents happen. You need to know how to clean dog urine from carpet. If at all possible, clean up urine as soon as it hits the floor and while it’s still wet. Once it dries, the odor will set into the carpet fibers. Place a towel or a couple of layers of paper towels on the spot to absorb the urine. Stand on the towel so it pushes into the carpet and absorbs as much urine as possible. Next, mix up a solution of 2 cups of vinegar, 2 cups of warm water and 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Put solution into a spray bottle and spritz on soiled area. Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Blot with a soft cloth.  For heavier stains, sprinkle baking soda directly on the stain. Pour a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water on the area and let it sit for 5 minutes and blot up with a cloth.

Apologies I actually posted that comment before I completed it. I would love a suggestion for the best way to clean ceramic tiles! Also, since the bathroom is a small space should I use the same products for every surface or would it be ok to use vinegar and bleach on different surfaces in the same room? Thank you!
Tobacco smoke odors caused by people smoking cigarettes, cigars, or pipes indoors tend to permeate the entire structure. The longer a person smokes inside, the stronger the odor is and the more difficult it becomes to remove.
Try pheromone diffusers if you believe that territorial stress is part of the inappropriate urination issue. These products give off a synthetic version of the “happy cat” pheromone, which makes cats feel less stressed and more likely to use their litter box.
I discovered this product after my mother remedy doesn’t work on our cat urine on the carpet. I was about take it to the laundry if the remover doesn’t work. But it really surprised me that the stain got destroyed after a few minutes. But my husband doesn’t like the smell very much, that’s strange, because I find it completely normal.
Your local SERVPRO Franchise Professional has the training and equipment to identify and eliminate these offensive odors. By identifying the cause of the odor and determining the conditions in which it contacts any surfaces, the odor can often be removed over time without a trace.
Additionally, once a urine stain dries, you may no longer see it but you can still smell it, and so can your cat, leading him or her to re-mark the area. “When it comes to cleaning up cat urine, many cat owners make the same mistake—not cleaning it up quickly enough,” says Meg Roberts, president of Molly Maid, a residential cleaning company.
Thanks for the comment, Art Lover. However, I have two 12-year-old cats that I’ve had since they were tiny kittens. I had them both declawed and they’ve never had issues with their litter boxes or their feet. I won’t start a debate on declawing here, because those can get ugly, but I highly recommend declawing.
Let me set the stage for this long review. I am diagnosing myself as CP phobic (cat pee phobic). This is not yet an official disease but I am working on a patent. The roots of my CP phobia come from my childhood days as does everything else that is wrong with my life but I will skip the details for a book I will later write and discuss with Dr. Oz. Cats were around me in my childhood days and due to absent parents, they peed everywhere and little was done to clean it up. Therefore, the smell of cat pee brings severe anxiety, anger, and anything else that is related to a negative feeling. In 2002, a small kitten followed me into a 7-11. She was friendly but obviously abandoned and probably had her days limited if left in the busy parking lot of this convenience store. So on this wonderful day in the winter, I walked out with a Diet Coke, a pack of Marlboro lights, and a kitten. All three items were destined to deteriorate my health.
White Vinegar. To rid your linoleum or hardwood floors of that “not so fresh feeling”, simply mix a 3:1 solution of warm water and White Vinegar in your mop bucket and get to work. Remember to crack a window or two. Vinegar has a good clean smell, but it’s a strong one.
I shampoo’d my carpet this week, and I noticed that once it dried (after the room being closed for a day), that it smelled like cat pee after. So I went on a mission and actually got to put SUN to the test. I found the rather large area that smelled like pee, and I started spraying it all over. I immediately noticed that a certain area started getting little white bubbles, almost like it was foaming. I sprayed that area until it was saturated, then poured a good amount of SUN into the center so it could soak into the pad. (See photos) The fact that I can actually SEE it working was impressive, since now I don’t have to go buy a blacklight to find the spot.
If you can’t trust her loose in the home, kennel train her. Doggies don’t soil their den. You can also check her for Urinary Track infection if kennel training works when she is in there and not when she is loose, or take her out more often. Moving her outside is punishment that isn’t appropriate when training is required, or it’s a medical issue. Subjects her to varmints at night, mosquitos spreading heartworm disease, and possibly barking disturbing neighbors. Doggies don’t misbehave without something going on.
Cat urine contains a unique blend of bacteria, urea, and other substances that give it a strong and persistent odor. Removing it effectively demands high-quality cleaning solutions that attack and break down the odor-causing components. Because the lingering smell of the urine tends to draw cats back to the same area repeatedly, the first incidence of urinating outside of the litter box can easily become a cycle of inappropriate and detrimental behavior.

In every case where I made the mistake of letting my neutered cats (which do not spray!) play with the “hillbilly” cats next door (which DO spray, as they are not neutered, nor properly taken to vets ,nor properly parented), the territory-marking foul spray has been effectively neutralized by the RESOLVE foam, using it just like directed on the can.. Ergo, please advise your readers that they DO NOT have to use six different chemicals to effectively neutralize cat pee or cat territory-marking spray…including the so-called need to add anything to the laundry soap when washing cat-sprayed bedcovers or clothing, or towels, etc., in order to get rid of cat pee smells. Been there, done that, too!
