“remove urine stains from jeans urine odor”

Some cleaning products work better than others depending on the type of carpet you have, such as natural versus synthetic fibers. Read the label on these products to find the one that can best remove dog or pet urine odor from carpet.
When I moved into this house the carpets smelt of cat pee which 2 of my dogs peed over them, not wanting to change the carpets until I decorate I used a steam cleaner on them, my dogs no longer pee there and I can’t smell any either. May be worth a try with a steam cleaner. I have found the small hand held steam cleaners better than those for the floors.
According to a survey commissioned by the IICRC, more than 80 percent of homeowners state that how clean their floors are is a major factor in their family’s health. However, only 15 percent of homeowners have their carpets cleaned every year. Odor removal is a major component of preventing airborne contaminants from affecting the family’s health inside the home. Also, a lingering stench almost always comes from a source that is hazardous to people and pets. For these reasons, the problem should be treated as soon as it is noticed.
I adopted a puppy and he decided to pee on the top of my plush couch, I have tried and tried to get the pee and smell out. But nothing seems to be working and I don’t know what else to do, I have tried Pirey multi purpose cleaner and I have tried Woolite pet urine eliminator. Aside from trying warm soap and water to try and clean it, I am getting married in September and would really like to get this taken care of before then. I don’t want my guests coming over to my home with a couch, that smells like my dog has made it his personal potty and I haven’t tried to fix it. I don’t know what else to do about the issue so if, anyone has anything that will do the job please help me.

Remember that cat urine stains are a bit like icebergs: you only see a small sample of what is there. While you might see a relatively small stain on the surface of the carpet, there is much more that’s already sunk deep into the pad. Even hard surfaces are porous enough for the urine to soak deep into. Truly cleaning a cat urine stain requires a generous application of the cleaning solution, so be sure to completely drench an area several inches larger than what’s visibly soiled. After you’ve completely saturated the area, cover the dampened surface. You can use anything to cover the surface – foil, a pan, a turned-over basket, or a box. The idea is to prevent your cat from urinating on the spot while the the cleaner is working, while also ensuring that no one steps or sits on the wet spot.

Once you have located the urine you can effectively treat it with SUN solution and remove 100% of the odor. Urine creates two different problems: 1. Odors 2. Stains. Stains are easy to find because they can be seen. The odors are more difficult because they cannot be seen. There are 5 different type stains created by urine. The best way to remove each varies. How to remove the odor. Step One: Locate all the urine residue. Step Two: Treat the urine residue with SUN solution. That’s it! If you find all the urine residue and treat it with the SUN solution it will eliminate the odor immediately, completely and permanently. To locate the urine you need to find where it was deposited and determine how far it has spread and how deep it has soaked. Again, finding all the urine residue (so it can be treated) is the key to success. A small pet weighing 5 pounds will eliminate 2 ounces of urine twice a day. In a year’s time this can add up to 11 gallons of urine. 4 ounces of urine can spread to cover an area 9 inches in diameter below the carpet surface. Step One: Find The Urine. Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to put Stinkers! to the test on several occasions, and I wanted to share how well it performed in these five ultimately stinky situations (spoiler alert: AMAZING!):
We are proud to announce that Patrick Fratto has now joined forces with his two sons (Patrick and Chase) and long term employee Scott Broadhead in establishing the 3rd generation of Fratto carpet cleaning services!
When cleaning any surface, it’s important to get to the point not only where you cannot smell the urine, but your cat can’t smell it either. “When a cat can smell a previous urine spot (from themselves or another cat), that area is likely to be used again,” George said.
You love your pets. You love your carpets. Unfortunately the two don’t co-exist well. Knowing how to get pet stains out of carpet is a key a skill for dog and cat owners. Here’s how to clean some of the most common messes caused by your animals.
I have tried the Baking soda and Vinegar mixture, because the smell was horrid…. I let it dry several hours and i can still smell the urine…. Is there anything else i can do? i need a shampooer but do not have one at the moment… Please Help!
Do not use Hydrogen Peroxide that is higher in concentrate than 3%. Bleaching may occur on some carpets with a stronger solution. Read the label on the Hydrogen Peroxide carefully. The label will state the strength.
No need to worry about staining either, this product breaks down the stains which can emerge from urine in a natural way. This allows things to get settled out and leave you with a clean floor that only has the cleaner’s scent to it.
Try setting out a bowl of vinegar in the area painted. The vinegar will soak up the odor. Or, cut an onion into two halves and place each half at opposite ends of the room. It will soak up the paint odor and won’t smell like onion. If the room is especially large, use more onion.
Step two requires buying Angry Orange. Angry Orange is a smell that cats hate and is actually pretty pleasant to others. It smells like straight oranges. I bought the spray bottle and the concentrated refill bottle. Because I am CP phobic, I put a lot of the concentrated angry orange in a spray bottle and a little bit of water. I grabbed my UV light and went after the spots like the crazy, mad woman I have become. I sprayed all the spots only to have the entire house overwhelmed with the smell of orange. I am pretty sure my neighbors think I have opened a juicing station in the middle of my kitchen. I highly recommend following the directions of using the correct ratio of water to Angry Orange. If you do not follow the directions, not only will you think about writing a book called “James and the Giant Orange” but there will be slight orange spots on your carpet. Which now we can go to step 3.

Hello, one of my 2 cats has peed (a lot!) on my sofa – so that two of the large seat cushions, as well as the space between them (down into the sofa structure) are soaked. I have sprayed/soaked the affected areas with Fresh ‘n Clean, but just noticed that the label states that the formula includes baking soda deodorizers, but no enzymes. I have two main questions: (1) Since it does not contain enzymes, is Fresh ‘n Clean one of those that only mask the odor? Is it not effective in preventing repeat transgressions? (2) After soaking everything with the spray, when is the best time to launder – immediately or after the spray has soaked in & dried? Please respond as soon as possible! Thanks for any help!

Thick cushions and mattresses may require several applications to completely remove the cat urine. The thickness is the issue, and getting the enzyme cleaner to all the same spots the cat pee went is more difficult on the thick things. But rest assured, your couch or your mattress is not ruined if your cat pees on it. You will be able to clean it!
Hi Debbie, oh that is awful! I had a cat who would VOMIT on me while I was sleeping, so I can kind of feel your pain. First off, the blanket – you may want to trash it if you can’t get the smell out. They’ll keep peeing on it if they smell the pee. I’m not a vet, so of course I’m obliged to tell you that you should talk to your vet, but in my experience cats will urinate in the places they’ve gone before because they associate that as a peeing-spot.
Wash toys, bedding, and accessories regularly. Pet smells build up over time, so it’s important to stay on top of cleaning and washing. Wash your pet’s bed, fabric toys, leashes, and collars in the washing machine every month. Wash hard toys every month in the sink with soap and water. Water bowls need more frequent attention–wash these with soap and water every week.[16]
Keep laundry and blankets off the floor. Because cats just like to add to the chaos, keep piles of dirty clothes and folded blankets off the floor. These are like cat magnets. First they cuddle, then they pee.
