“remove urine stains from white underwear remove cat urine smell from couch”

No matter how much you’d like to get rid of dog’s urine smell and those pee stains on your carpet or hardwood floors, the first priority should be your pet’s safety. Dogs walk on that surface and may lick it, or lick their paws. A study conducted in 2013 found that pet owners are often unaware of the dangerous chemicals in the home (Mahdi et al. 2013).
Wash toys, bedding, and accessories regularly. Pet smells build up over time, so it’s important to stay on top of cleaning and washing. Wash your pet’s bed, fabric toys, leashes, and collars in the washing machine every month. Wash hard toys every month in the sink with soap and water. Water bowls need more frequent attention–wash these with soap and water every week.[16]
Obviously the best long-term solution is to get the little guy going potty outside. I am not sure what your process is, but adding the use of a crate/kennel (or in your case pen) to the regime can be helpful, in addition to positive re-enforcement. It’s a total pain, but it really cuts down on the accidents and is worth it in the long run. So for example as soon as the puppy wakes up, take him outside to go potty. If he goes throw a party and have a little play session. If he doesn’t go within 5 minutes or so, bring him back inside and place him in his pen-there isn’t any fun time until his business is done. Anywhere from 5-15 minutes later repeat the above process. When he does go, he gets let out to play run around etc. etc. but not before. Again it’s a hassle, but it really cuts down on missing any accidents in hidden places, and they pick up quick on the positive re-enforcement and learn to hurry up and potty so they can play!
Awesome stuff! This product really works! It’s very safe for use around pets and people and can be used as a whole house deodorizer. I use a little in the cats litter and no more stink! Works great in musty basements and laundry rooms. Awesome for use eliminating odors in tennis shoes, trash pails and toters, and even eliminates refrigerator odors too. I give this stuff 5 out of 5 stars, and highly recommend!
Ah so glad you’re giving it a try! For coffee stains you can try the ones above, or you can try gently rubbing a bit of soap (not detergent, which is often sold as soap, but true soap, such as castile) into the coffee stain. Lightly dampen the spot with water first. For any of them test a very teensy area first to make sure doesn’t discolor your carpet. Let me know how it works or if you have any questions-paws crossed that it gets the job done 😉
Add in 4 heaping tablespoons of baking soda, adding in smaller amounts if it threatens to fizz over (and it really does fizz!) Pour into a spray bottle and thoroughly spray the area. Let sit for 5 minutes, then gently rub and blot up with a soft cloth. You can also simply pour some straight from the bowl over the stain if you don’t have a spray bottle.
I spent a HUGE chunk of money on the litter robot. I recommend going to the litter robot website and researching this expensive toilet for cats. They have great customer service too. The litter robot is life changing for anyone who actually plans on owning cats for fun and for cats who refuse to use a dirty litter box. Due to my CP phobia, I plunked down the money. Everything worked great until my cat saw me enjoying life. The peeing began again. I put down a plain old square litter box and added “Cat Attract” litter. The peeing stopped. My adorable ball of high maintenance fur now uses the litter robot to go number two and the plain square box to go number one. The “Cat Genie” trash can is a must with anyone who has CP phobia. It keeps the smell down to a minimum and saves on trash bags.
This recipe worked for me. My baby had a bladder infection, and peed on a spot on the carpet multiple times. I tried the Nature’s Miracle stuff, nothing! It actually gave me headaches, it smelled too strong. Then I used vinegar, it worked, but it did not last. Then I rented a Rug Doctor, and bought their Pet soap. That one smelled better, but did nothing for the pee smell. I finally found this site and tried it. It has been a week now since I applied it for the first time, and the odor is gone. I had to apply it twice, but so far, so good.
Someone please help! We moved into our house at the end of November and we have 1 cat. The previous owners had cats over the years, as well. We noticed that anytime the basement got damp (our sewer backed up in winter and now with springtime thaw and rain~basement leaks a little bit) that the smell of cat urine was overwhelming. Under our stairs was a space that was semi-boarded up, so I took the boards down and found about 50+ piles of cat poop that was certainly OLD and white, as well as lots of dirt (?), rotted wood, etc…bought a black light and yes, it is all cat urine under there too. I then scanned the entire basement and there is cat pee EVERYWHERE!!! I don’t know what to do or where to start, since this is not a small, localized area. Call a haz-mat team? I know professional services can be expensive. Please help!! Oh, and the walls are old fieldstone and the floor is rough and bumpy cement. Thanks in advance!
Not all enzyme cleaners are equally effective. Good enzyme cleaners are typically a bit more expensive. Cheap ones will work, but need to be reapplied over and over (and probably end up costing as much as the more expensive enzyme cleaners). Enzyme cleaners this author is aware of that work well and reliably include Nok Out, Urine Off, and Anti-Icky Poo.
I found an area of carpet that one of my cats had peed on twice. It was so bad, it went all the way through to the sub flooring and into the baseboards. I have taken up the carpet and padding and have saturated the flooring with an ineffective odor eliminator. Any suggestions?
Have a steam cleaner with an upholstery attachment. When my cat peed on my bed I added oxygen to the cleaning solution (after making sure it wouldn’t cause a reaction I wasn’t looking for) and steam cleaned the mattress. It worked.

Unhappy reviewers say that this product makes the urine stains smell worse than before, but this only happened with very few customers. As with any carpet spray, be sure to spot test a section of your carpet, as some pet owners have had a bad experience with discoloration.
I use peroxide on coloured clothes including my scrubs and have never lost colour. That doesn’t, however, mean it won’t happen. You’re right to spot test first. The peroxide you buy at the grocer’s or pharmacy is a low percentage which makes it not as effective at bleaching as the peroxide sold for hair.
Rainbow International’s IICRC-certified restoration crews understand the “tricky” science of identifying and removing persistent, widespread, overpowering, and even mysterious odors. If the smells wafting from your cat’s litter box aren’t enough to make your guests turn tail and head out the front door, any accidents on floors, mattresses or upholstery surely will. There are products that promise to remove cat urine odor, but use vinegar and save your pennies.
Hydroxyl Generators are unique because they work around the clock in occupied areas. Unlike ozone generators, hydroxyl generators can be used in occupied spaces.  It’s safe for people and pets to stay in the area that’s being treated. If you have a lingering pet odor such as litter box smell or pet bed areas, consider a hydroxyl generator to continually treat the air and remove the odor causing molecules around the clock.
Once the spot is clean, apply a high-quality pet odor neutralizer (see below for our recommendations). Follow instructions carefully and test out a hidden area of the carpet to make sure the neutralizer doesn’t stain.

Wet paper or cloth towels with cool water, and lay them over the spot. Put a heavy object on top of the wet towels and leave the towels overnight. When you remove it in the morning, you can assess whether or not you need to take more extreme measures.
