This doesn’t look like your average dog toy, because it isn’t! The Outward Hound Puzzle Cube is an interactive puzzle toy for pups that enjoy squeaking and chasing tennis balls. It stimulates your dog’s mind and gets him up and active.
We adopted a cat a few weeks ago and about a week in she peed on the couch. Anyone with a cat knows how horrible cat pee can be. I did what I could to clean it, soaked up as much as I could then I Fabreezed the heck out of it. It didn’t matter, my living room still smelled like a litter box.
That means keeping your animal in a cage 16 plus hours a day??? Why don’t you simply take him/her outside for a short pee break at intervals??when you wake, at lunch. after work and before bed…it’s cruel to cage an animal 16 hours, why bother having an animal if all you do is keep it in a tight cage
For over thirty one years, Fratto Boys Carpet Cleaning (formerly of Fratto and Sons Carpet Cleaning) has been providing Salt Lake City, Utah and the surrounding areas, with the most effective and efficient carpet cleaning service.
Step 1.  If the cat has recently urinated on the carpet, first absorb as much of the cat urine as possible using paper towels. Place several layers of clean paper towels over the cat urine area and tread on them so as to absorb as much of the urine as possible. Repeat with dry towels until no more moisture can be absorbed.
@Johnny Our vet said that incontinence would occur in little dribbles as opposed to her squatting and peeing a bladder full, which is what’s happening. Anyhow, you may want to post your comment as an answer. Thanks! – glenviewjeff Mar 17 ’14 at 3:10
Remove the cushion cover and wash it in apple cider vinegar with cold water — completely saturate the foam cushion with apple cider vinegar as well. It works best to place the cushion outside if possible to allow to dry. There’s something about the fresh air that helps get rid of the smell. Repeat the entire process as necessary. As for the cushion cover, NEVER throw it in the dryer. The heat will lock the cat pee smell in, and you will never get it out. Smell the cover after washing, and if you still smell anything, rewash it. If not, let it air dry.
Every product will have the instructions on the bottle label, so make sure to follow those. However, the process is almost identical for all of them. Here are the six simple steps for the most effective way to get rid of dog urine stains and smell:
We have over 20 years of experience in removing cat urine and dog urine from carpets, hardwoor floors, tile, rugs, upholstery and furniture. Our products eliminate dog urine, cat urine odor, and remove all urine stains and stains smells, so your house will smell fresh and clean.
The live, enzyme-producing bacteria in Bottom Line digest organic waste and destroy urine odors at their source for permanent odor removal. This non-toxic brand stands up to high temperatures and pH without losing effectiveness.
Locate the source of the odor. It’s easiest to clean fresh stains that are still damp, since you can lift much of the urine from the affected spot. However, you may also come across dried stains. In these cases, the same procedures should be followed, even though the urine has had more time to break down and soak into the surface.
This bio-enzyme-based odor and stain digester contains over 50 billion enzyme-producing bacteria! Combined with a special odor counteractant, Restor eliminates the source of pet urine, vomit, and other problematic odors and soils.
Hey so, I just wanted to say that the one where you mix the baking soda and vinegar you are just making sodium acetate, water, and Co2. If you mix them in the bowl or sprayer before applying it you aren’t really doing anything. You just end up with a lot of water and a small amount of either baking soda or vinegar left over (whichever had too much for the reaction). Just wanted to point that out. It’s basic chemistry.
Funnel 7 tablespoons of brown sugar into your container, and add the fruit. Next, add the water, and tightly screw on the cap, giving everything a good shake to mix it around. Loosen the cap and leave it on halfway to release the gases and ensure your bottle doesn’t explode due to the build-up. After 3 months, you’re natural enzymatic cleaner will be ready to use!
Cats may spray for territorial reasons or when they feel anxious or threatened. The presence of stray cats in your yard may cause your cat to mark near windows and doors as a way to identify that this is his territory. New pets in the household, or a conflict between existing pets in the same household, may also make pets feel a need to mark their territories. Changes in your cat’s environment, such as rearranging his living space or moving to a new home, can add stress and induce marking. Occasionally, the spraying cat may target the clothing or bedding of a person or visitor in the house.

I really hope you don’t have any pets. You’re part of the problem of over crowded pounds, unnecessary euthenasia and why some dogs have a hard time getting adopted. My dog has problems peeing in the house because she’s scared all the time. I wouldn’t be surprised if her constant fear, flinching, shakes and anxiety was caused by someone just like you.
Leslie Reichert, a self-described “cleaning coach,” editor of Clean Green Living Magazine and author of The Joy of Green Cleaning, prefers to hit dog urine stains with a few squirts of hydrogen peroxide. Spray the stain, let it bubble up (that means it’s working) and let it sit for 10 to15 minutes before sopping it up with a rag. “Be sure to spot test first to make sure the hydrogen peroxide doesn’t discolor your carpet,” she said.

Use only 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. Do not use Hydrogen Peroxide that is higher in concentrate than 3%  Bleaching may occur on some carpets with a stronger solution. Read the label on the Hydrogen Peroxide carefully. The label will state the strength.
What do you do if the clothing is a dry clean only winter coat? My sons friends cat sprayed all over him. I won’t allow the clothing in my house until I know how to get rid of the urine. I have a cat and do not want him to start spraying my house.

Shannon, I’ve used Simple Solution right in the wash. I’d take the comforter to a laundromat and use one of their great big machines. Often times the smaller machines can’t even get the entire comforter wet. They’re just too big. But yeah, I’d use a cup or so of an enzymatic cleaner in addition to your regular detergent and let it dry in the sun.
When Mrs Clean is not busy managing her house cleaning company or running her kids back and forth to their events, she enjoys experimenting with natural and non-toxic cleaners and learning new techniques to remove stains.
The first step is to grab a length of around six sheets of kitchen roll, fold this into a six sheet thick square and press it down onto the wet area of the carpet with your foot. Repeat with fresh kitchen roll until the area is as dry as you can get it.
This stuff really works! Out of all the products I have used, plus the expensive professional cleaning, I have to say, this was awesome. Its easy and inexpensive. I was a little at first but after reading all the reviews I decided I would try it, and I’m glad I did! I still can’t believe it. It got rid of a couple dried urine spots on my carpet and let me tell you, it smelled horrific. I wanted to throw up. I was so embarrassed! To anyone who is skeptical about this, take it from me. It really works.  But trust me, before you go out and buy every product in the world, try this.
Pet Odor Removal 1 part distilled vinegar 1 part Listerine 2 parts water 2 drops dish soap. There are fats, proteins and ammonia in urine: Mouthwash has alcohol in it, which is good because it helps to lift the fats. Dawn cuts the fats. The vinegar
