“what will get cat pee smell out +male cat urine”

Burn incense. Incense comes in many forms and in many different smells. To burn incense sticks, place the skinny end of the stick into an incense holder. Light the opposite end of the stick until the tip begins to glow, and then blow out the flame. As the incense burns it will release sweet-smelling smoke that will make the air smell great.
However, many brands still use dangerous ingredients in their solutions. The numbers of ingredients are numerous, but a few common ones include dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and glyphosate. Not only are they dangers to dogs, they’re even harmful to humans, too. For example, a study in 2014 found a correlation to cancer (Schinasi et al. 2014).
Decomposition odors can be caused by many different things from the common spill of a beverage that penetrated too deep for traditional cleaning methods or from bodily fluids such as blood left over from unfortunate events such as trauma or crime scenes.  These odors are not only unpleasant but may provide evidence of health hazards such as bacteria or harmful gases such as H²S more commonly called “sewer gas.” This gas, commonly derived from the decomposition of organic materials and bodily fluids can be toxic at certain levels. Decomposition odors may also indicate the presence of dangerous airborne pathogens.
This stuff is amazing. Unfortunately I have a cat that occasionally likes to use the restroom on my beautiful hardwood floors for some reason that I have yet to figure out. I have tried so many cat urine cleaning products that claim to use enzymes to remove the smell, none have worked as well as SUN. (I don’t believe SUN is an enzymatic cleaner, I could be wrong) One in particular that I used to use was Nature’s Miracle – Just for Cats. Wish that had worked because I bought a 2 gallon jug of it. This cleaner, to me smells like urine and therefore makes my house smell like urine until it completely dries, and sometimes my cat will urinate on the same area after using it. I can’t stand the smell of it. I was happy when I opened SUN for the first time, it smells great, a very clean smell.
The type of surface that you’re going to apply on is also a factor to consider. See if the product is recommended for your upholstery, carpet, floor, and so on. It’s best to choose removers with a natural bacterial formula. They have no harm to your health and also very good at their job.
The very best way to eliminate cat urine and dog pee odors from your house is by not letting them happen in the first place. Here are five useful tips that will help keep your cat from random accidents:
Understanding a little about the behavior and physiological capabilities of your pet helps in understanding why enzymatic cleaners are so useful for removing pet stains. Dogs and cats have a much more highly developed sense of smell than humans do and can detect odors that we cannot smell. We think the carpet is clean because the odor and stains are gone–and then the dog/cat returns and pees on the same spot.
The only way to get rid of urine odor is to use a product that has an active enzyme in it. Vinegar will only temporarily get rid of the odor. If the urine gets into the pad of the carpet, you’re sunk. If you replace your carpet, it may be worth while to get a pad that has the plastic cover to prevent it from getting wet. I’ve done this and am happy I spent the few extra dollars.
Another possible reason that an older cat may forego the litter box is arthritis. “As cats age, they can get arthritis, which makes it harder for them to get into the box,” Kornreich said. “Perhaps the sides are too tall or the box is located in a place that requires the cat to do some kind of arduous physical activity to get to, such as up or down a flight of stairs.”

Alternative 2: Peroxide, dish detergent and baking soda. Hydrogen peroxide can break down some of the chemicals in urine through a process called oxidation. Start by soaking up as much urine as possible. Then sprinkle baking soda on the stain and let it sit for 5 minutes. Mix ½ cup of 3-percent hydrogen peroxide and 1 teaspoon of grease-cutting dish detergent in a bowl. Pour mixture onto a towel, and blot it on the stain. The detergent will get rid of odor-creating fatty acids, and the peroxide’s fizz will lift out crystals that leave stains.

As a disabled senior with a service dog…and a neat freak…I depend on Febreze to keep my apartment smelling nice and clean. Once you’ve cleaned a particular area, prevent a recurrence by changing the significance of that area to your cat. In other words, since cats prefer to eat and eliminate in separate areas, place food bowls and treats in previously soiled areas, or play with your cat in that space and leave toys there.

For the bed, you might want to do this in the morning so that you can clean and remake the bed at the end of the day. Follow up by vacuuming all of the baking soda from the bed, carpet and furnishings and returning the bed linens and cushion covers or slipcovers to the furniture.
While it’s not a standalone product, if you’ve invested in a carpet cleaner then you’re going to be quite happy with Bissell 2X Pet Stain & Odor remover. It’s also a lot cheaper than most standalone options.
3. When the area has dried or almost dried sprinkle a handful or two of baking soda over the soiled area. Mix half a cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide with a teaspoon of detergent. Plain liquid dishwashing detergent like Palmolive is quite suitable. Do not use dishwasher detergent like Cascade.  Put on a pair of plastic gloves and slowly pour the hydrogen peroxide and detergent mixture over the baking soda. Work the dissolving baking soda into the carpet with your fingers or with a scrubbing brush. Allow the area to dry completely and then vacuum thoroughly.
A: If the stain is new and still wet, a thorough cold water rinse can remove the bulk of the urine and mitigate or remove any odor before it sets in. The best method for removing dog urine odors from upholstery depends on timing.
Yes! This formula is optimal for organic (protein-based) stains. Protein-based stains include human stains such as blood, vomit, feces and semen. It is also great for pet stains. The product may also be used as a pretreatment step on sheets, pillowcases, towels and linens prior to a normal laundry wash. The pretreatment step will boost the removal of food stains such as gravy, spaghetti sauce, red wine and chocolate syrup during laundering.
Antimicrobial chemicals, aka antimicrobials, are designed to kill microbes.  It has been shown that not all microbes are bad.  In fact, many microbes are good, and help us stay safe and healthy (some hang out in your ears and whisper things like “drink more water” and “do some deep knee bends”).
Products like Nature’s Miracle are also costlier and messier in the long run. Because you have to saturate a pet spot in order for Nature’s Miracle to work, you buy more and wait up to two weeks for an area to dry while living with the odor of both the urine and the chemicals. Then, if it didn’t work, you have to start all over again.
C) YES – spay/neuter is essential for happy, healthy cats! Desexing your cat preventspecific many behavior issues (see Jenn above) and prevents several types of cancer. It also allows your cat to focus on loving you and your family rather than being driven wild by their hormones (imagine being a teenager your whole life).
Even diehard cat lovers have to admit that not only is the smell of cat urine TERRIBLE, it is almost impossible to remove from carpets, upholstery, fabric, floors, bedding, or anywhere else. Kittens and aging cats, in particular, often have continence issues. You have to sympathize, but you also don’t want to live in the stink of cat pee or allow your beloved pet to ruin the furniture.
If your home has pet odor problems, you’re in for one of the toughest odor removal projects known to man. That doesn’t mean you should give up hope. It just means that depending on the nature of the odor, and the material, this isn’t going to be an easy task.
Thank you everyone. I have a suitcase that someone peed in (I think), as well as the clothes that were in it. The person who belongs to the clothes is appalled, and I really need to find out: 1. How to fix it; 2. Why whoever did it…did it.
